About Us

This site did not start with a business plan. It started with a frustration.

I was working on a content project and needed a simple random country picker. Nothing fancy. Just something that would give me a random country when I clicked a button. I searched, landed on a few different sites, and every single one of them had the same problems. Slow load times, pop-ups before the tool even appeared, and one of them actually asked me to create an account just to use a basic generator. For a random country. Free information that has existed for decades.

I closed all of them and built my own.

How It Grew

That first tool was just for me. But I put it online anyway, and within a few weeks people were finding it through search. Then someone emailed asking if I could build a random animal generator for a classroom activity. Then a developer asked about a password tool. Then a writer asked for something that would give her a random word when she was stuck.

Each request pointed to the same problem. People needed simple random tools and the existing options were either too slow, too cluttered, or asked for too much before delivering anything useful.

So I kept building. Every tool on RandomGens exists because someone had a real reason to need it.

Who Is Behind This

My name is Musa Tariq. I have been working in content writing and SEO since 2019. Over those years I have built websites, written content across different niches, done keyword research, studied how search engines evaluate quality, and learned the difference between content that fills a page and content that actually answers what someone came looking for.

Those two things are not the same. Most content on the internet is the first kind pretending to be the second. That bothers me, and it is part of why I care about how RandomGens is built.

What Makes This Different

Most random generator websites were built once and then left. The tools still run but nobody is maintaining them, updating the results, or improving the experience. You can usually tell because the mobile layout is broken, the results feel outdated, and the page takes five seconds to load something that should be instant.

RandomGens is actively maintained. When a tool produces results that feel stale or limited, they get updated. When the experience on a particular page is not working well, it gets fixed. This is not an abandoned project.

The suggestion form on the homepage is real. Several tools that exist on this site today came from user requests. If you need something that is not here yet, it is worth sending through because requests that come up repeatedly tend to get built.

A Note on Privacy

Every tool on RandomGens runs in your browser. When you click generate, the result is created on your device and never sent to our server. Nothing you generate is stored or logged anywhere on our end.

This matters most for the security tools. The password you generate here, the PIN, the email format for testing, none of it leaves your browser tab. We do not see it and we do not keep it.

The site runs on ads to stay free. That is the only reason ads are there. The tools themselves have no restrictions and no paid tier.
